Seasons of Wellness – Hypertension

Hypertension (or High Blood Pressure) is a leading cause of heart attack and STROKE, and frequently it has no symptoms. Diagnosis and treatment for hypertension have changed in the past few years, and it’s important to understand “the new normal.” Join SJN Parish Nurse Susan Infeld and Dana Rizzo RN (from Waltonwood Senior Living”) Tuesday, July 12 at 10:30 am by Zoom as they dive deeper into the latest guidelines, symptoms, and treatments. Last month we learned about the signs and symptoms of STROKE. Posters in the restrooms, pamphlets in the hallway, and bulletin information are all part of SJN’s efforts to become a Stroke Smart Faith Community. Hypertension awareness plays a huge role in Stroke and Heart Attack prevention! Register for this critical Zoom event by contacting our parish nurse at 703-390-2349 or at sinfeld@saintjn.org
