What is ARISE Together in Christ?
ARISE is a powerful faith-sharing program that invites parishioners to encounter Christ and grow as missionary disciples in small faith-sharing groups. Over the course of six weeks, participants reflect on Scripture, pray together, and share their faith journeys. Along the way, they deepen their personal relationship with God, form new friendships, and strengthen the bonds of faith.
ARISE opened in the fall of 2018 with Season 1, Encountering Christ Today. Season 2, Change Our Hearts is part of our 2019 Lenten program. Season 3, In the Footsteps of Christ, will launch in the fall of 2019, and be followed by Season 4, New Heart, New Spirit, during Lent 2020. We will conclude with Season 5, We Are the Good News!, in the fall of 2020.
Who is ARISE for?
ARISE is for anyone seeking to deepen their relationship with Christ through faith-sharing and cultivating Christian friendships. Wherever you are on your faith journey—either returning after a long absence, here for the first time or continuing a lifetime of practice—all are welcome. We believe that together we can become sources of hope and encouragement for one another.
Do I have to participate every season?
There is no obligation to take part in a small group every season. We all juggle many different schedules and priorities, and ARISE is designed for participants to sign up one season at a time.
How do I join a group?
Registration for new participants and facilitators will open on September 7 for the Fall 2019 session.
Existing facilitators will coordinate with their members, who need not register again.
Groups will meet for six sessions starting in October. Morning and evening sessions are available.
