What is Family Program?

The objective of SJN’s Family Program is to offer families the option of building a small faith community, while also allowing parents the opportunity for adult faith formation.

Family Program meets once a month from September through April, on a Saturday from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and replaces the traditional religious education class for grades pre-K-5 students.

Families meet for social time and prayer followed by class sessions for the children (grades pre-K-5) while parents attend an adult faith formation session. The children’s classes are taught by a rotation of parents who each sign up to teach a faith formation class during the year. All children’s classes meet by grade level. Families are also provided a schedule of lessons to be completed at home and turned in at the monthly sessions.

To register for the Family Program, visit the Faith Formation Office during office hours, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
