Held on the first Wednesday of each month (unless the Wednesday falls on a Holy Day of Obligation, at which point the service is rescheduled) at 7:30pm, in the de Sales Chapel, our Taizé Prayer Service is is a form of common Prayer. It is intentionally simple in structure and ecumenical in nature, allowing it to be rich in its meditative quality that gets to the heart of a contemplative prayer form. “Right at the depth of the human condition, lies the longing for a presence, the silent desire for a communion. Let us never forget that this simple desire for God is already the beginning of faith.” – Brother Alois, Prior of Taizé. For more information Taizé, please contact C.J. Capen.
