Last week, a group of our SJN Middle Schoolers came together for fun, friendship, faith, and service. They played hard and they worked hard. They spent a day at JK Community Farms. Among other projects at the farm, they harvested potatoes, summer squash, and zucchini…enough to feed over 530 people! They packed 28 gift boxes for the Boxes of Joy program through Cross Catholic Outreach. These boxes will be sent to youth in Guatemala and Haiti. For most of those youth, this will be their first time receiving a gift. They also learned about the lift of St. John Paul II and visited the National Shrine for him in D.C. Check out this slideshow of their week!
