Jesus gets right to the point—we are all called to give money to support the mission of the Church, regardless of our circumstance. No gift is too small or insignificant! Giving money to support the mission of our local parish is a matter of our faith, just like praying and participating in parish ministries. When you make a financial offering, is it from your first fruits or from what is left over?

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington has informed us that another parishioner, Mildred Edwards, recently made a donation to their Cars for Families program. Her car is already helping a young seminarian carry out his duties during the last few years of his studies, which includes service in several locations outside the seminary. With the great need within the Church for new clergy, Ms. Edwards and the St. John Neumann parish can be proud to be helping enable a young man to complete his studies to become a priest!
