SERVICE OBJECTIVES
Responding to the call to be a people of mercy and justice through compassionate service, we commit to incorporating Catholic Social Teaching as a living part of our faith and service, bringing the Gospel to bear on the issues of the day and to the challenges of our community through:
- Integrating Catholic Social Teaching (CST) into the Sunday Liturgy.
- Linking the community to opportunities that will put CST into action.
- Offering educational opportunities on how to advocate on issues that call us to be disciples.

Plan Objectives
2021-2022
1) Integrate CST into the Liturgy through homilies and Prayers of the Faithful.
2) Offer service opportunities that contain an education component on CST so that parishioners will better understand the connection between what they are doing and why.
3) Highlight advocacy issues (bulletin, website, after-mass presence) that align with CST and offer opportunities for parishioners to participate.
2022-2023
1) Continue CST integration into Sunday Liturgy – Prayers of the Faithful and homilies that connect CST with the Sunday readings.
2) Continue prayer services that focus on racial justice and other issues related to CST.
3) Offer inter-faith service activity and connect it to CST.
2023-2024
1) Write series of bulletin articles on seven themes of CST and connect each with service opportunities.
2) Offer Lenten Soup Supper series that will focus on CST, and why we are called to love God and love and serve our neighbor.

Respondiendo a la llamada a ser un pueblo de misericordia y justicia a través del servicio compasivo, nos comprometemos a incorporar la Doctrina Social Católica como parte viva de nuestra fe y servicio, aportando el Evangelio a los problemas del día y a los retos de nuestra comunidad a través de:
- La integración de la Doctrina Social Católica (CST) en la liturgia dominical.
- Vinculando a la comunidad con oportunidades que pongan en práctica la DSC.
- Ofreciendo oportunidades educativas sobre cómo abogar por los temas que nos llaman a ser discípulos.

Objetivos del Plan
2021-2022
1) Integrar el CST en la liturgia a través de las homilías y las oraciones de los fieles.
2) Ofrecer oportunidades de servicio que contengan un componente educativo sobre el CST para que los feligreses comprendan mejor la conexión entre lo que están haciendo y por qué.
3) Destacar los temas de promoción (boletín, sitio web, presencia después de la misa) que se alinean con el CST y ofrecer oportunidades para que los feligreses participen.
2022-2023
1) Continuar la integración del CST en la liturgia dominical – Oraciones de los Fieles y homilías que conecten el CST con las lecturas dominicales.
2) Continuar con los servicios de oración que se centran en la justicia racial y otros temas relacionados con el CST.
3) Ofrecer una actividad de servicio interconfesional y conectarla con el CST.
2023-2024
1) Escribir una serie de artículos en el boletín sobre siete temas del CST y conectar cada uno con oportunidades de servicio.
2) Ofrecer una serie de cenas de Cuaresma que se centren en el CST, y en por qué estamos llamados a amar a Dios y a amar y servir a nuestro prójimo.
