Participating in a children’s choir provides an excellent opportunity for children to find a place in the church where they can develop self-expression, leadership qualities, self-discipline, and group disciplines. At the same time, they will enjoy the positive atmosphere of fellowship through liturgical music.

Angel Choir
Age 4-Grade 2: Rehearses Wednesdays from 5:00pm-5:30pm
We may be born with talent, but we must learn to use it. The Angel Choir sings with the older Children’s Choirs periodically throughout the year and for Christmas and Easter Masses. Music for this group comprises both fun and serious songs. We will introduce simpler songs from Mass and some just for enjoyment. Rehearsals are in the Music Room. Resumes for the 2022-2023 School Year on 9/21/22
This beginning choir:
- Allows children to explore the use of their voices through the singing of brief religious songs with small range melodies and simple rhythms.
- Will begin to teach children to read basic music notation and will encourage proper singing posture development.
- Will teach children about Mass participation while encouraging the spiritual development of these young parishioners.
