Grow spiritually and deepen your personal relationship with God through study, prayer, and reflection in weekly small group meetings, which include recorded presentations by noted Scripture scholars. Small groups meet at various times throughout the week; choose the day and time that works best for you:
Two courses, with a study guide, are offered per year, one in the fall and another in the spring
You may also download the Registration Form below, complete, and return to the Parish Office with payment. Additionally, paper copies of the registration form are also available on the wall display adjacent to the Welcome Desk.
Come together with other parishioners this fall for a six-week study beginning late September/early October. Join us as we explore God’s Word in small groups using study materials developed by Catholic scholars from Little Rock Scripture Study.
Within each of the four gospels there is a foundational spirit, a rich spirituality based on each gospel’s unique understanding of Jesus and what it means to be his disciple. In this study, Fr. Patrick Hartin looks at each gospel and asks such questions as Who is Jesus? and What transformation does this encounter with Jesus invite? Hartin thoroughly unpacks these questions, and then follows with examples of people who embody the transformative power of these spiritualities, from Saint Francis and Dorothy Day to Saint Augustine and Archbishop Romero. Hartin’s twofold approach gives us a deeper appreciation for the spiritual dimension of the gospels and helps us to be transformed in Christ by their message and vision.
All are welcome to join one of multiple small groups that meet at various times throughout the week. Tuition is $15 and scholarships are available. Please contact Michelle Lawrence at runnergirl107@hotmail.com for any questions.
