A spiritual journey into compassion, JustFaith provides a lively and challenging format to read, view, discuss, pray, experience, and be formed into community by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is a journey changing lives, inspiring faithful witness, and transforming the world through love and service.
The JustFaith programs help participants examine their roles as faith-filled people in the world today and focus on the Christian call to compassion and justice. They offer an opportunity to experience conversion of hearts and minds, providing a space in which participants can grow in their commitment to care for the vulnerable and to become advocates for a more just society.
This program serves to strengthen the growing commitment of parishes to be agents of social transformation, mercy, and compassion. For more information, contact facilitators Tom Costello or Michele Costello.
This 8-week JustFaith program, “Faith and Poverty: A Solidarity Response,” explores local poverty and introduces participants to the tips and tools they need to respond. Together, participants navigate questions such as: “what are some common hurdles that people in poverty face?” and “what are some practical tools for alleviating poverty in my community?” In addition to the readings, group members engage in prayer and spiritual practices throughout the week between sessions.

Participants emerge from this program better equipped to help alleviate poverty in their communities, as well as stand in solidarity with those experiencing poverty.
