Angel Gifts FAQs
What does “wrapped and tagged” mean? If it’s a Target gift card, please place it in an envelope along with the tag you selected. If it’s a gift, please wrap it or place it in a gift bag. Attach the Angel Gift tag you picked up the weekend of November 23-24. Please do NOT sign your name to the tag.
Where should I return the gift? Please return purchased Angel Gifts, wrapped and tagged, to the bins with an Angel logo under the counters along the hallway to the Brown-McCarthy Auditorium. It is important that gifts are placed properly since the Gifts for Kids program is also runnning this time of year. Please return Angel Gifts gift cards to the main office, Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If the office is closed, please place the gift card in an envelope with the Angel Gifts tag and slip it under the Main Office door.
I ordered a gift online, and it is going to arrive late. Is that okay? Please let Maura Burke know if it will be late so we can keep track. If it is arriving after December 8, then please do not order it. For anything that hasn’t arrived by December 8, we will have shoppers go and purchase a substitute gift. We cannot accept late gifts.
I lost the Angel Gifts tag that I selected. What should I do? Contact Maura Burke with as many of the details of the tag as you can remember. When you return the gift, tape a note to it with the gift details, which will help us figure it out.
What if the gift is for clothes and I am not sure the size is correct? When buying clothes or shoes, please include a gift receipt. If possible, purchase at Target, Wal-Mart, or Kohl’s so they are easy to exchange if necessary.
Can I buy a gift card for more than $30? No. We want to make sure that the school-age kids are getting similar gifts. We don’t want one child receiving a $50 card while the others get $30. Please pick a second gift tag if you want to spend more! There are a few special exceptions in the more expensive gift area that were requested by the school.
The gift is more expensive that $30. What should I do? Please check with Maura Burke. We may be able to come up with an alternative gift that is less than $30. We may have missed that in our review of the gift list.
I can only find the gift on Ebay and it is very expensive. What should I do? Please don’t order from Ebay (especially since it may be more expensive). If you can’t find the exact gift, please get something similar or provide a $30 Target Gift Card instead. Sometimes the gift suggestion is for an outdated toy, and we missed that in our review of the gift list.
