You’re Invited…

Parishioners of St. John Neumann are invited to join members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from McLean for an Interfaith Day of Service Saturday, October 12 from 10:00am–12:00pm in the Brown-McCarthy Auditorium.

We have a goal of collecting enough resources to assemble 600 care packages that can be provided to our area’s seniors and adults with special needs. These care packages will include items of necessity as well as convenience and entertainment. We hope that these care packages will convey the love and thoughts that we have for those that are being helped by Fairfax County’s Department of Aging and Adult Services.

If you can’t attend the event…

We are collecting the following items and ask you to please drop them in the bins under the hallway counter marked for the “Interfaith Day of Service” by October 1:
• Stamps (need 300 books of 20)
• Mini shampoo bottles
• Mini conditioner bottles
• Mini lotion bottles
• Mini hand sanitizer bottles
• Mini mouthwash bottles
• Mini toothpaste tubes

We would also welcome monetary donations – please make your check payable to St. John Neumann and write “Interfaith Day of Service” in the memo line. For further information, please contact Dan Combs at
