Fr. John Crossin, OSFS, will give a talk about his new book, “Moving Into the Ecumenical Future: Foundations of a Paradigm for Christian Ethics,” on Saturday, February 11 at 11:00am in the auditorium. Adults and teens are welcome to attend.
Father Crossin’s book proposes ten pillars for a common Christian Ethics. He believes we should rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, ground ourselves in biblical teaching, consider the practical experience, and focus on our relationships with God and one another.
Father Crossin served for five years as Executive Director of the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs at the Catholic Bishops’ Conference. His publications include four books about Virtue Ethics books and numerous Salesian Spirituality articles.
